Coach Joe Turbeville ('63), an inductee in the inaugural class of the South Carolina Football Coaches Hall of Fame, is this week's Band of Gold Spotlight. The former Bulldog lineman and retired high school coach led his teams (Winnsboro, Spring Valley, Irmo) to five state titles in four decades of coaching. Also, former Citadel GrayLine co-host Jim Waddill ('60) returns – with lots of Christmas spirit, too – on this 2014 finale. |
