Art Musselman ('60), a member of the famous "Blitz Kids" teams of the late '50s, is this week's Band of Gold Spotlight. This weekend Musselman's jersey is being honored at The Citadel. Also, the current Dogs win three big SoCon games in a row, including a home rout of the College of Charleston. And Jeff Hartsell of the Post and Courier has the latest info on football recruiting.

The late E.B. Peebles ('39) is the Band of Gold Spotlight this week. His grandson, Bush Peebles ('90), as well as his nephew, Col. Lee Jones, share memories of this Mobile, Ala., legend. This weekend the Senior Bowl takes place in Mobile at 40,646 seat Ladd-Peebles Stadium, co-named in the Citadel graduate's honor. Also, Jeff Hartsell has the latest in recruiting news for the football team. And we get you ready for the COC-Citadel basketball game on Saturday.

Dr. Bill Schupp ('62), president of The Citadel Basketball Association, is this week's Band of Gold Spotlight. He discusses the hard work his volunteer organization has performed to further Citadel basketball. Also, Jeff Hartsell and Jim Waddill have fun discussing the hair length of Citadel athletes. And the Echo Taps portion of the show includes a tribute to Major Brian M. Mescall ('97), who was killed in action in Afghanistan on Jan. 9.
