Board of Vistors member Claude W. Burns III ('80) is this week's Band Of Gold Spotlight. The Rock Hill, S.C., native owns Burns Cadillac Chevrolet, a company that's served South Carolina since 1923. He relays info on his business, as well as the responsibilities he now undertakes as a leader at The Citadel. Also, Y'all Magazine's college baseball analyst Brian Ferguson gives us his take on Fred Jordan's litter of Dogs. Will El Cid successfully make it through the upcoming SoCon tourney?

Junior pitcher Wes Wrenn is named SoCon Pitcher of the Week. The High Point, N.C., native pitched a no-hitter into the seventh inning in a 9-1 Citadel win over Davidson on Saturday. Wrenn and his teammates swept the Wildcats in weekend action, and moved into second place in the conference standings. However, mid-week losses on the road to UNCW and East Carolina have put Fred Jordan's team in another tough spot. Also on this episode of Citadel GrayLine, Recognition Day has been moved up several days on the Spring '08 schedule. Is this a good - or bad - thing? We talk about this important Citadel tradition.

South Carolina state Sen. Billy O'Dell ('60) is the Band of Gold Spotlight on this week's Citadel GrayLine. The Republican from Ware Shoals has served in the State House since 1989. Hear his role in appropriating funds for his alma mater; plus war stories from his days as a cadet.
